Comprehensive Wealth Management for Private Clients

At BPU we are proud to enjoy long-lasting client relationships, each highlighted by the upmost professionalism, yet with a deeply personal approach. This balance of “professional and personal” demonstrates our dedication to our clients as people and our in inherent understanding of the profound importance of financial health on their lives and the lives of their families.

Your financial advisor is the one who understands you goals and life situations; collaborates with you to oversee and manage your strategies and answers your questions. He or she also serves as your liaison to BPU’s team of credentialed professionals including: Chartered Financial Analysts, Attorneys, Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analysts™, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioners.

Together they work with you by creating a Comprehensive Financial Plan that addresses all four of these questions or by developing an investment strategy through our Asset Management Services that focuses solely on protecting your assets; reasonable growth; and, making them last. This encompasses us understanding what return you need for what purpose; how much risk you can tolerate; and how taxes figure into the mix. Your advisor and our team can then recommend one or more of our global, multi-asset class strategies for you, as not one strategy fits all.

Asset Management for Private Clients, Trusts, Retirement Plans and Eleemosynary Clients

Investment Risk can be specific or broad. It can manifest itself in a single company, industry or sector due to poor business management or events like strikes, catastrophic equipment failures or major disruptions to supply chains. Risk can also emanate from changes in global economies caused by political and social unrest, central bank driven interest rate changes and other macro level influences such as inflation, currency fluctuations or recessions. No matter the source or type – risk is all around us and ever present. Most significantly, it must be managed.

At BPU, we have been helping clients manage risk and grow their assets since 1997. By allocating capital globally, across a spectrum of assets classes, we help you position your assets for growth; and, simultaneously manage broad macro risks. Further, by diversifying across multiple sectors and securities within each of those asset classes, we help you manage specific industry and security risks.

Combining institutional-strength investment capabilities with personal oversight and attention to detail, we strive to identify opportunities in all market conditions and deliver high-quality, objective advice. Learn more.

Personal Financial Education for Corporations, Organizations and Associations

Today, employee productivity and financial wellness seem to be inextricably entwined. According to a 2014 Society for Human Resource Management study, “Seven out of 10 HR professionals indicated that personal financial challenges have a ‘large’ or ‘some’ impact on overall employee performance. Of these HR professionals, approximately one-half reported that employees’ stress (50%) and their ability to focus on work (47%) were the aspects of employee performance most negatively affected by personal financial challenges.” At BPU we work with employers such as you to help educate your employees about all aspects of their financial resources to help them develop sound personal financial goals and therefore more control of their financial resources going forward.

The average worker has three major assets: their job; their home; and their retirement plan. Successful business owners have one major asset: their workforce. With the advent of the 2008-2009 financial crises, the topic of financial literacy rose to the top in the media and among leaders in the public, business and nonprofit sectors. As a result improving financial literacy is a priority today for many corporations, organizations and associations.

BPU works with employers throughout the country to improve the financial wellness of their employees through our Personal Financial Education Program. We accomplish this by helping employees develop a more secure financial future through personal financial education. Our courses motivate employees to take control of their future through classroom learning and practical application. They are taught by experienced and credentials BPU employees who are prohibited from soliciting employees after class.

We work with you on course location and course promotion and each employee who completes one of our workshops and the associated homework can make a request for a personal consultation and financial analysis.
